Artista plástico\, youtuber y musico\, ha publicado más de un centenar de trabajos sobre Cultura\, Comunicación\, Economía y Geopolítica. Suyos son los libros Nepal\, la revolución desconocida (2012) y La Dictadura del Videoclip (2015) ya en su 3ª edición\, obtuvo el reconocimiento de numerosos medios y fue considerada una obra de referencia por la Johns Hopkins University de Maryland\, una de las universidades privadas más prestigiosas de los Estados Unidos\, que la catalogó como “la envidia de cualquier analista cultural”.  \n\n\n\nJon nos presenta su ultimo libro-estudio Educación Toxica (ed. El Viejo topo)\, donde analiza cómo lo que los jóvenes aprenden a través de las pantallas\, frecuentemente es contrario a una educación respetuosa con los derechos humanos. Con especial énfasis en la música dominante\, pero atendiendo a otros productos culturales\, en este sorprendente e ilustrativo trabajo se muestran las razones por las cuales la cultura popular está repleta de toxicidad pedagógica. \n\n\n\n¿Cómo se puede avanzar en igualdad cuando tu cantante de moda presume de riqueza o amordaza a su exnovia en el maletero de un coche en videoclips vistos por millones de adolescentes? ¿Cómo concienciar a los menores del peligro de las drogas cuando muchas canciones hacen apología de ellas? ¿Cómo valorar la cultura y la educación si no hace falta estudiar para “triunfar” y los famosos alardean de no haberse leído un libro en su vida? ¿Cómo fomentar el respeto\, la paz y la convivencia cívica si se difunde la ordinariez\, el latrocinio\, la explotación\, el narcotráfico\, la agresividad y la violencia?  \n\n\n\n¿A quién interesa que esta situación continúe? ¿Quiénes deciden qué rostros y contenidos se pondrán de moda entre los menores? ¿Qué papel jugará el sistema educativo en ello? Estas y otras preguntas son respondidas sin paños calientes con profusión de datos\, rigurosidad científica y mucho sentido del humor en un trabajo definitivo que sin duda animará a todos aquellos que\, desde el pensamiento crítico\, crean que otra educación no sólo es posible… ¡sino urgentemente necesaria!
